The Acoustic Centre has just entered its 15th year as 'The Original Acoustic Guitar Specialist'. After a decade in Wapping, near London's Tower Bridge, the store. inc. our in-house workshop, occupies dedicated, air conditioned premises on the the edge of the 'square mile' in the city, minutes from Liverpool St. tube and mainline station, with free parking on Saturdays, right outside.

After bringing Santa Cruz, Breedlove and later Bourgeois guitars into the United Kingdom, 1997 saw the Acoustic Centre introduce Collings, subsequently becoming their largest dealer, outside of the US.

In addition to UK representation of Lakewood and National, over the years the store has been able to boast annual achievements inc. largest Takamine dealer for the UK, leading Martin dealer for Europe and indeed, biggest Lowden dealer worldwide.

Having supplied Taylors to Duran Duran and Travis, Radiohead with Lakewood and K Yairi, Collings to Brian May and Paul Carrack, Mike Oldfield with Ramirez, Martins to David Gilmour and Johnny Marr, Pete Townshend with Takamine, Lowdens to Sinead O'Connor and Trevor Horn, the Charlatans with Gibson, Santa Cruz to Martin Barre and Nick Kershaw, Dave Stewart with National and even Babyshambles Pete Docherty with Maton, the Acoustic Centre's commitment to service applies equally to professionals and enthusiasts alike.
